Predating Venture Scouts this Trophy spans 40 years.  The Sections winning before 1967 were Scouts or Senior Scouts.  Chuck Lilley recalls an earlier Senior Scout trophy (also presented by W A Mackrow) went missing.  It is not clear if the later Senor Scout medallions were added after the start of the Venture Scouts in 1967 or the trophy was repainted.
