Before 1950’s note states that they were Brown with a gold flash

In 1952 described as Brown with a Blue flash.

Troop colours in CoH late 1953 described as Blue and Brown – the question being asked did anybody know why. The scarf above is therefore wrong. They were certainly Sky blue and Gold on the 2012 reopening and these were scarves remained from the previous 44th.

The first Trumpington Troop in 1930 was supported by members of the 12th Cambridge, GSM W A Mackrow and ASM W H Nunn.

Harry P Thompson ASM is recorded as being a Bevin Boy. This war time role ran from Dec 1943 and suggests that he was with the troop until the later part of the war.

Note 1st Trumpington reverted to the original colours of the first Trumpington troop.
