The following photos of Robert Baden-Powell, founder of the Scout Movement are from the collection of Rev CT Wood. C T Wood was the Dean of Queens’ College and leader of the 9th Cambridge (Queens’ College Choir Troop). He was DC and later County Commissioner for Cambridgeshire. BP visited Cambridge on many occasions. The following photos are the highlights from the collection.

Walking down Free School Lane. Date unknown (1931?)

1931. BP on the steps of the Senate House after being awarded a Honourary Law degree by the University. CTW can be seen in the background holding the Chief’s hat.
