Relatively little remains of this event. In this post war period resources were limited; no grand souvenir programmes or photographs. Held over two days it was a very visible event in the centre of town and reflecting traditional Scout activities.
The AGM report in March 1949 records nine Troops camping overnight on the Saturday, all packs bar one involved in the dances and all packs being represented in the Scouts Own on the Sunday morning.
