Cambridge District Scout Archive

This section covers newsletters, noticeboards, telegrams (briefly) radio and film.

It does not cover morse, semaphore or messenger services which sit under Scout Activities.

The page on Austrian Scout in Cambridge should also be viewed (WW1 and 2).

It should be remembered that most communication was by letter or postcard. Postcards were cheaper, but the cumulative expense by letter or PC was a fair proportion of income.

The following Postcard to a camp in Lake District is to the point.
