Below is a page available to be printed and attached to personal collections of memorabilia or papers. It is intended as information or a reminder for the holders of the material or, in due course, our heirs or executors.
It does not list the first port of call – your old Group. Many Groups have no permanent HQ or are closed – but do ask. A strong sense of the history of a Group is important; to recognize the work of those who went before, to create several bodies of local scout archives (safer) and to act as a reservoir of inspiration and information for current scouting.
