Camp Permit from 1953

It is anticipated that the camp site may not be an established spot and that Scouters need to provide full directions for finding the site.

The expectation was that a camp would be visited by the local Commissioner or Scouter and a report made.

‘A good site and everything in excellent order.  Scouts will ………………..good programme arranged.

My own feeling is that a Troop of this standard should employ full Patrol Cooking i.e. each Patrol having its own kitchen and cooking all their own meals.’
