Camp Kitchens

Cambridge District Scout Archive

Camp kitchens are rarely as depicted in the over tight ideal of the books. A formal fenced off area with a fire, preparation and washing zones, a wood pile, wet and dry pit, is often modified by terrain, equipment and skills.

The following photographs, generally in the background of the main subject matter, show the reality.
