The following pages cover the Awards presented and the badges and insignia available to Scouts as recorded in Cambridge District. Some pages describe the stages and insignia awarded. Other pages will focus on individual badges and how they altered through the years, the badge instructors, badge examiners and the focus of troops.
It is not intended to be a comprehensive review of every badge; some, such as the Miners badge, are unlikely to have ever been awarded in Cambridge District. There have been over 250 variations on badges since 1908.
