First registered in 1934 the Group was quickly moved to be part of the North Cambridge, later named East Cambridge and finally named Mid Cambridgeshire District.  This was one of four created in 1934/35 from the very large Cambridge District

It had one year of Census returns

On transfer it changed its name, as did the other transferred Groups to location – just Lode Scout Group.  It closed in 1937 or 1938.
