The missing years may be failure to engrave by the winners or lost plaques.  1980 is recorded as Cancelled and 1976 No competition was held.  1991 the 27th and in 1993 the 5th Cambridge are listed elsewhere as the winners.

In 1973 it was reported that the Trophy was in poor shape and a new one purchased.  The brass plate was presumably transferred from the old trophy.            District Minutes

Chuck Lilley recalls – The Old Trophy ‘gave up the ghost’ and the list of winners placed on the back of a new trophy.  The new Trophy was presented to the District by Chuck.
