In 1926 Professor Stratton (Gonville & Caius College)(Chairman) provided a Trophy for a County first aid competition. This was called an Ambulance Trophy.
The Trophy pictured below dates from 1965, a time when the competition appears to have reorganised. District heats were conducted and the winner or winners entered for the County Competition. This had Scout and Senior Scout later VSU sections which may have echoed the County level competition. This would help explain the discrepancies between the trophy and the records from other sources.

It is not clear for which Section or Districts this particular trophy was intended.
District Archive Collection
It has two plates on the back one engraved. The list of winners is given below.

County results were not always prominently recorded if District teams did not feature amongst the top teams. As with many other passing congratulations the details were not always clearly given.
The winners of the various competitions are by no means clear. The names taken from the pictured trophy are definite; those from before the 1965 shift to heats and senior sections are less certain.
